Chapter Eight

Ryan didn't understand why he had this terrible need to protect Martin, or at least, make him feel better. He wanted to fool around and feel the heat of that incredible body. Spending the night alone in his bed while Martin slept in the next room seemed too unfeeling, especially after Martin's confession about Mark. When they returned to the village, then they could sort it all out. Later. For now, Martin needed a friend, and a lover. He was willing to be both.

Martin backed away and hit the closed door. He glanced down the empty hallway, then looked back at Ryan. "What the hell do you want from me? I'm not some boy toy for you to play with." He placed his hands on his hips. "Just because we got personal doesn't mean I want you to fuck me."

Ryan's heart spiked. That pout was so damn sexy. He pinned Martin's arms above his head, pressing his body against him and locking him in place. Anger ignited a fire in those sea-green eyes. Then he kissed that stubborn mouth, hard, heavy and deep, spearing his tongue inside that toasty warm mouth. He ground his hips into Martin and met an erection hard and big as his own. That was more like it. He knew all about sex. Martin squirming beneath him turned up Ryan's heat level. Their tongues sparred for control and he enjoyed the duel. Martin kissed back as if he couldn't get enough and Ryan liked that, too.

Martin's struggles eased as his own body grew tense and hot. He pulled away from the kiss to catch his breath. Without thinking about the consequences, Ryan scooped up his fighting partner by his ass and threw him over his shoulder.

"What the hell!" Martin yelped, kicking his feet to no effect.

"Hey, you're heavier than you look. Stop struggling." Ryan laughed as walked over to his bedroom and crossed the threshold. He set Martin on his feet.

"You asshole!" Martin's nostrils flared as his mouth quivered. He clenched his hands against his jeans, his chest heaving. Curses left his lips in a stream of interesting obscenities but he stood there, not moving, not escaping.

Ryan's gaze roamed down to the large package tented in Martin's jeans. "Are you through complaining?"

"I can't believe your fucking arrogance."

Ryan moved in and slipped his fingers into Martin's waistband. His fingertips met with the tip of Martin's cock. Moist and slick, and ready. He slid his finger across the slit and Martin arched back, a moan whimpering from his lips.

"You're just as horny. Let me relieve the pressure."

"Fuck you."

"You want it. Admit it."

"Not with you."

"Really? Then why are you randier than a dog in heat?"

"You calling me a dog?"

Ryan caressed his face. "You're beautiful."

Martin slapped away Ryan's hand but Ryan wasn't going to let him go. He caught Martin by the waist. "Let's enjoy the moment. Everything in life is a chance. Let's just see where this goes."

Relief came over him when Martin’s slender shoulders relaxed. Ryan tugged at the snug waistband.
